Allora is known as 'the best little town on the Darling Downs' and it is also rightfully regarded as being one of the friendliest towns on the Darling Downs. Allora is a hidden jewel just off the highway between Toowoomba and Warwick.

Each year on the Queens birthday weekend, Allora Apex holds the Allora Apex Auction at the Allora Showgrounds.

The Allora Apex Auction is the largest multi vendor auction in the Southern hemisphere and includes about 2,500 items for auction - machinery, collectables, antiques, cars, boats, caravans and even the occasional kitchen sink.

The Allora Apex Auction is held on Queens Birthday weekend each year and in 2006 the Auction will commence at 8am on Monday 12 June.

There is ample to eat and drink at the Showgrounds and we look forward to meeting you at the Showgrounds - make a day of it and pick up some bargains!
